Endurance
Endurance is a sculpture piece composed of three images printed on transparent paper which are pasted on mirror tiles. These tiles are glued together to create a 3D triangular prism. The faces on all three images are cut out to enable viewers to look into the picture and see themselves wrapped in a hijab. This will help prove to the world that even if you may look different, you are still you. You are still the same human and not some alienated creature. You are wanted, loved, and needed on this earth. Once individuals start to recognize this and become more accepting of other cultures and faiths, we will be able to collectively develop and grow as a community; hence the plant growth.
